About Legal & Records:
The Iron Horse Legal and Records Committee is responsible for the legal and records management of the community. This includes reviewing and approving legal documents, maintaining the association’s records, and providing advice to the Board of Directors on legal matters.
Responsibilities
The Legal and Records Committee is responsible for the following:
- Reviewing and approving legal documents, such as the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&Rs), the Bylaws, and the Rules and Regulations
- Maintaining the association’s records, including minutes of Board meetings, committee meetings, and other records
- Providing advice to the Board of Directors on legal matters
Meetings
The Legal and Records Committee meets at least once per month. The committee may meet more frequently as needed.
Membership
The Legal and Records Committee is made up of homeowners who are elected by the Board of Directors. The committee is open to all homeowners who are interested in serving on the committee.
